Northshore street works: what the September notice says
Wharf Street access and preparations for the MacArthur Avenue upgrade.
BMD’s September notice describes a temporary pedestrian closure on the eastern side of Wharf Street, with a diversion and some kerbside parking unavailable. It says access to nearby EV chargers is maintained.
The notice also describes preparations for a temporary riverside lane between Wharf Street and Bincote Street. Follow signs and traffic controllers; this article is not a live road-status service.
Check dates before travelling
The same notice includes gas works scheduled from 31 August for up to two weeks and out-of-hours works ending 4 September. Those dates have passed. We have not treated them as current closures.
